Last time, Dirk left for University (taking his fortune sims wants with him). Darren wanted to spend time with Cass and gain skill points. That’s basically it.
Darren wants to: Play with, Marry Dina, Gain a skill point, Max all skills, Invite someone over, Talk.
First want: Invite Dina over to play with her, talk to her and marry her.
Oh shit. Or not. He’s still reeling from the fire. He is probably going to get an energizer before work and do all his wants after work. He needs 3 friends (Dirk must have taken them with him) and a cooking skill point, so no promotion today.
So his first wants end up changing after work. He wants to play a video game, a computer game and play darts. He lost all his social wants for playing. He kept his skill wants and Marry Dina.
Darren plays darts, video games and a computer game. It’s an easy night for him.
There is still enough time to invite Dina over.
She immediately drags him off to woohoo on the sofa.
Dina: Want some of this?
Darren: Oh, hell yeah!
He started rolling wants to play, classic dance, and appreciate her, so he does that and then they get married.
If my bad memory serves, Dina left off wanting to get married and marry a rich sim. She does both.
If you wondered just how broke Dina was, wonder no more.
Violet (Lothario) arrives a short time later and Darren makes Dirks old room into a nursery and brings her inside.
Violet is the first toddler I have ever noticed who sucks her thumb.
Dina: Go on Vacation, Watch TV, Freestyle for Tips, Play a Computer Game, Buy a TV ($8,000), Have a Baby.
First want: Watch TV.
Violet: Normal toddler wants with Dina and grow up well.
First want: Be snuggled by Dina (on her way to watch tv).
Being snuggled advances them to best friends.
$8,000 TV is bought, which means they needed a new couch and chair.
Darren hits the energizer to max all the skills he has left on his day off.
Someone isn’t feeling too well.
Since Dina got her expensive TV, Darren wanted to redo the kitchen. They are now so freaking poor again.
Darren needs friends for his next promotion, so he takes a break from skilling.
Teeny baby bump.
Violet grows up and she looks exactly like every single one of her half siblings through Don.
Slow going in the house. Here is pop 2.
Darren now has a promotion and needs more friends.
When Darren gets too tired, Dina takes over. Soon, they have enough friends to start getting promotions again.
Darren tops his career and becomes a mad scientist, but then he lets me know that his aspiration has changed. I’m really sick of this.
He now wants to be in the Paranormal career. Asshat.
Violet has finished her first day of school and wants help with her homework and to do her homework. Good thing Dina is here.
Dina gives birth that night. To a BLUE boy. WTF game?
Let’s hope Darren doesn’t question his parentage.
Darren and Dina need a shitload more friends. Violet had met one of the Orphanage kids on Friday, so Saturday she invites the whole bunch of them over to meet. Now she can spend the rest of her days making friends with them.
Then the game crashed. Probably too many kids in one place. I had saved recently or maybe we could have gotten a normal looking baby.
Galaxy has his toddler birthday.
There is no question in Darren’s mind and knows that Galaxy is his son.
Sunday is spent in toddler training and house cleaning. Violet calls up some of her new acquaintances and starts making friends.
Caliente House 2 is deleted from the rotation for obvious reasons.
Dina and Violet were actually pretty easy. They mainly wanted to play video games, computer games and darts. Doing that on repeat, and it was super easy to get their 5 wants done.
Darren wanted to top the Science career last round, which was locked in. After doing that he moved to paranormal. Until Galaxy aged up he was kept pretty happy with the others: darts, video games, computer games.
After Galaxy learned all that he could, Darren went straight back to play wants. Oh, and that baby want will not roll away. Dina has no matching interest, so ACR will have to take over or we’ll just ignore that.
Dina ends with buy, buy, buy wants.
Violet is on to growing up well and getting an A+.
Galaxy just wants some attention.
